Patch Notes – Week of May 11th, 2026

RESOLVED ISSUES & NEW ADDITIONS

  • Access to Global chat has now been restored, for the purpose of inter-realm coordination between Backers.
    • This is a temporary change that will be removed at some point before the game is fully released. You folks made it clear that Global chat currently serves a valuable role for you to organize fights, but once the game is LIVE (or we deem it no longer necessary/beneficial) then Global Chat will be turned off again.
  • The Blessed Crow’s Barrel Down, Feast, Garms Blessing, Gift of Hunger, and Reknit abilities have had their SFX updated.
  • The Helbound’s Desperate Strike, Hel-born Resilience, Life From Death, and The Way Of All Flesh abilities have had their SFX updated.
  • Added missing heal effect for friendly targets on the Helbound.
  • Updated keybindings related to Shift, Alt, and Ctrl to accept input from either the left or right Shift. The option to use either the left or right side for those keys has been removed from custom keybinds.
  • Custom keybinds now save between game sessions to your local data.
  • Overhaul to the party and warband UI. The UI is now more compact and emphasizes your party members’ health bar.
  • Max warband size changed from 64 to 40.
  • Updated location of confirm and cancel buttons in window prompts to all be the same side for consistency.
  • Fixed bug causing Meat on the Flame FX to not be destroyed at end of duration.
  • Fixed a bug causing one of the maps to be missing its POI icons when viewed while in another map.
  • Fixed an issue where changing key binds on the second ability bar may cause them to stop working.
  • Fixed a bug causing the Stun Immunity status icon to not be visible.
  • Fixed bug causing The Righteous Never Die! to not heal the correct amount in some cases.
  • Fixed a bug causing Life From Death to not correctly grant healing from damage.
  • Fixed a bug causing Deadly Catalyst to play the wrong FX.
  • Fixed an issue where cast bars were not always visible when using an ability.

BALANCE CHANGES

  • Gemcutting and Artificing XP now progresses at 3x the previous rate.
  • Alchemy, Cooking, Jewelsmithing, Tanning, Sawing, Smelting, and Weaving now progress at 1.5x the previous rates.
  • Armorsmithing, Tailoring, Leatherworking, Weaponsmithing, and Woodworking now progress at 2x the previous rates.
  • Warlocks have had many abilities adjusted, particularly when it comes to range and casting times.
  • The Druid’s Forbidden Pact has been reworked.
  • Heavy Fighters have had many abilities adjusted and rebalanced, especially costs and cooldowns.
  • Healers have had many abilities adjusted and rebalanced, especially ranges and cast times.
  • The Empath’s Comhroinn Cinninuint has been reworked.
  • The Rune Healer’s Freya’s Prayer has been reworked.
  • The Rune Healer’s Freya’s Command has been reworked.
  • The Blessed Crow’s Summon Cauldron is now an instant cast.
  • The Blessed Crow’s cauldrons now have a lifetime of 60 seconds by default, instead of 15 seconds.
  • Adjusted Judgement gain to prevent spamming abilities out of combat to build Judgement. This is both for the sake of balance and because needing to spam out of combat for optimal play is more tedious than fun.

KNOWN ISSUES

  • Occasionally, the Keep’s capture point becomes uncapturable.
  • Tab targeting will currently also select harvesting nodes and harvestable corpses, instead of just enemies.
  • Party and Warband UI may not update until relog or zone transition.
  • There are currently no gold requirements for crafting, which will be changed in the future.
  • If your faction controls the Keep, occasionally the ‘Respawn at Keep’ option on respawn will be grayed out.
  • Gathering when your inventory is full may fail silently with no notification.
  • Empath links may persist when logging in and out – this is a strictly visual effect.
  • Boars killed before PoI capture may not be harvestable.
  • Black Knight’s ability Blackened Blade will not conform to all weapons. Currently it only matches swords.
  • Client performance issues may be encountered when running in fullscreen mode (toggling to windowed mode and back to fullscreen appears to serve as a workaround).
  • Enemy NPCs may stand in place under certain circumstances.
  • Players may fall through the world during zone changes.
  • Expanding your bank currently does not work.
  • Some players may have missing Ability Cast bars.
  • Terrain flickering is present with ‘triangles’ appearing intermittently.
  • Several intrazone teleporters are labeled incorrectly (e.g. Isle of Discordia) – they will teleport you as normal to areas within your current zone.
  • Targeting indicators are visible on terrain, but are not visible on assets.
  • Terrain LoD issues may cause unexpected detail shifts.
  • The game client will often take a while to first draw a window on the screen after hitting ‘Play’.
  • When a new weapon is equipped to your character, and you have an old weapon equipped, the tooltip will incorrectly show the old weapon’s tooltip.
  • Gates are missing their ‘Interact’ prompt.
