Patch Notes – Week of April 6th

BALANCE CHANGES

  • Increased number of hostile mobs in the home islands around Points of Interest.
  • Minorly reduced in-combat movement speed across the board.
  • The Fianna’s Forest Strike ability now snares opponents.
  • The Mjolnir’s Round Strike ability now snares opponents.
  • The Black Knight’s Shadow Cleave ability now snares opponents.
  • The Veilstalker’s Veil Strike ability now snares opponents.
  • The Red Cap’s Vicious Cut ability now snares opponents.
  • The Skald’s Carve Your Saga ability now snares opponents.
  • Greatly reduced Judgement values across the board for Healers.

RESOLVED ISSUES AND NEW ADDITIONS

  • Resolved a crash that occurred when logging out while capturing a PoI.
  • Fixed a memory leak issue related to terrain mods.
  • Added a radial ping when opening the map to help locate where the player is located in the game world.
  • The names of party members will now be a different color than players outside of your party.
  • Added a mouse sensitivity slider to the settings menu.
  • Changed default key bindings on the hot keys to 1 through + for the primary ability bar and Shift-1 through + for the second ability bar.
  • Set the crafting limit to non-stacking items to 1 in order to prevent loss of crafting resources when crafting in batches.
  • Herbalism nodes in Eriu should now be consistently spawning correctly.
  • Broken spawns on the TDD home island for mobs should now be resolved.
  • When kicking an offline party member from your group, you should no longer crash.
  • Resolved issue that caused erroneous floating text to appear when harvesting.
  • Fixed an issue causing client hitches and performance issues.
  • Fixed an issue where attempting to kick a party member would initiate a trade request.
  • Fixed a bug where players would get the wrong party prompt when attempting to kick or trade with their existing party members.
  • Fixed an issue relating to difficulty on closing UI windows through the ‘X’ button.
  • Fixed a bug causing Destealth to not work correctly after respawning or changing zones while Stealthed.
  • Resolved an issue for Assassins where spending all Determination would cause regeneration of Determination to stop.
  • Fixed a bug for Chaos Weavers causing Rune Channeling to not increase party damage.
  • Fixed a bug for Chaos Weavers causing Rune of Pain to consume Beorc runes.
  • Fixed a bug causing the Physician’s Beguiling Mists to display the incorrect size targeting circle.
  • Continued beautification updates and polish across all zones.
  • The Dark Fool’s passive ability should now function correctly.
  • Fixed an issue where sometimes party buffs would not reapply when traveling between zones with your party.

KNOWN ISSUES

  • Gates are missing their ‘Interact’ prompt.
  • Occasionally, the Keep’s capture point becomes uncapturable.
  • Tab targeting will currently also select harvesting nodes and harvestable corpses, instead of just enemies.
  • Party and Warband UI may not update until relog or zone transition.
  • There are currently no gold requirements for crafting, which will be changed in the future.
  • If your faction controls the Keep, occasionally the ‘Respawn at Keep’ option on respawn will be grayed out.
  • Gathering when your inventory is full may fail silently with no notification.
  • Empath links may persist when logging in and out – this is a strictly visual effect.
  • Boars killed before PoI capture may not be harvestable.
  • Black Knight’s ability Blackened Blade will not conform to all weapons. Currently it only matches swords.
  • Client performance issues may be encountered when running in fullscreen mode (toggling to windowed mode and back to fullscreen appears to serve as a workaround).
  • Enemy NPCs may stand in place under certain circumstances.
  • Players may fall through the world during zone changes.
  • Expanding your bank currently does not work.
  • Some players may have missing Ability Cast bars.
  • Terrain flickering is present with ‘triangles’ appearing intermittently.
  • Several intrazone teleporters are labeled incorrectly (e.g. ‘Isle of Discordia) – they will teleport you as normal to areas within your current zone.
  • Targeting indicators are visible on terrain, but are not visible on assets.
  • Terrain Level of Detail suffers from pop-in.
  • The game client will often take a while to first draw a window on the screen after hitting ‘Play’.
  • When a new weapon is equipped to your character, and you have an old weapon equipped, the tooltip will incorrectly show the old weapon’s tooltip.
